Mackenzie’s plays have been produced in Budapest, Prague, Avignon, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv, Bristol and the BBC (U.K.), Faro (Portugal), Montreal, Banff, Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto, as well as touring the province of Quebec. They have been published in English, French, German and Hungarian.
Michael Mackenzie is currenctly working on the translation of the Blue Dragon, written by Robert Lepage. He is writer-in-residence at the Crows' Theatre in Toronto and he teaches at the National Theatre School in Montreal.
