Jean-François Pilon
Jean-Francois Pilon graduated Concordia University's film school with the honour of having been asked by the professors to use his film as an example of excellence for future students. After university, Jean-Francois directed “La femme au parapluie”, adapted from Michel Tremblay's novella. The film screened at the International Abitibi-Temiscamingue Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand in France and on television on Radio-Canada's “Beaux dimanches”. The film played on several screens in Quebec, preceding the feature “Le Marais” as well as at the Fantasia Festival. His second short film “Dead Dolls” played at Montreal's RezFest, at Clermont-Ferrand, at Saguenay's “Regard sur le court” and at the “Rendez-Vous du Cinema Québécois”. Jean-Francois has been nominated multiple times as a director of music videos, with almost a hundred of these “mini-films” under his belt.
